Meet the Captain – Roisin Black, Oranmore Maree

As the excitement builds ahead of tomorrow’s Galway Senior Camogie Championship final, sponsored by the Lough Rea Hotel & Spa, lets meet the captains of both teams!

First up is Róisín Black from the Oranmore Maree Camogie Club.

Róisín was a member of the 2021 Galway Senior Camogie team and she has been a member of various Galway Underage sides growing up. She captained Galway to a Minor All Ireland Final in 2016 where Galway unfortunately lost out to Tipperary, after a replay.

What do you love the most about your club? The friendships made. The time and effort given by the volunteers of the club.
