Win An All-New 212 Qashqai Fundraiser – TERMS AND CONDITIONS
(the “Terms and Conditions”)

The promoter of the Draw is Galway Camogie, under licence granted by Galway Court in June 2021.
Galway Camogie is established and conducted for no purpose connected with gaming, wagering or lotteries.

THE PRIZE: The first prize is an All-New QASHQAI 1.3 MILD HYBRID SV MODEL, valued at €34,870 The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
The photograph of the car is for illustration purposes only.
The Prize is exclusive of any type of insurances and road tax.
The Prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable to another person.
Neither the Promoter nor any sponsor accept any responsibility or liability to the winner for any dissatisfaction with the Prize.
The Prize is provided “as is” and neither the Promoter nor the sponsor make any representation nor give any warranty in respect of the Prize.

Cost of one ticket is €20. Cost of purchasing three tickets is €50. Cost of purchasing seven tickets is €100.

The Raffle Draw is open to anyone aged 18 or over as at the date of the Raffle Draw who have purchased a Galway Camogie draw ticket between 12th July to 7th Dec 2021 except those who, at any time during the period commencing 12th July and 11th December (the date on which the winner is selected), are car draw committee members, trustees or employees of the Promoter.
In the event of a club or syndicate winning the person buying the ticket for the syndicate will represent the interest of the syndicate.

Each and every ticket purchaser must be an Irish resident and provide an Irish address, an email address and a telephone number. Failure to provide any of this information will render the ticket purchased null and void and shall not be included nor deemed to be included in the draw. Any such entry entered into the draw will be declared invalid and another ticket will be drawn in its place.

All members of Galway Camogie participating in this Draw are subject to the rules of Galway Camogie. Galway Camogie Executive Board members 2021 will be excluded from purchasing tickets in their Own Name.

By purchasing this entry to take part in this Raffle Draw, an entrant is deemed to have read and understood the terms and conditions of this promotion and agrees to be bound by them.

Only those who have purchased the ‘Win a Qashqai’ ticket are eligible to participate in the Draw.

There is a limit of 15,000 tickets available for purchase online for this Draw.

These terms and conditions are governed by Irish Law.

Once purchased, no refunds will be issued except in the case of the cancellation of the Draw.

Each entrant may qualify for additional prizes if and when announced.

Any public notice or announcement about the Draw is a notice to members of Galway Camogie or to other persons concerned.

Neither the Galway Camogie County Board nor any member of the Executive Committee of Galway Camogie shall be liable for any loss suffered by any member/members of Galway Camogie participating in the Draw.

The winner(s) of the Car will be responsible for all costs (including insurance, tax etc) including any service charges.

Galway Camogie shall not in any circumstances be liable for any loss suffered due to any issues with the car and Galway Camogie County Board or any member shall have any liability to the winner of the Draw.

The organisers of the Draw shall not derive any personal profit from it.

The draw will be held on the 11th December 2021, 3pm.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

Galway Camogie reserve the right to change the date of the draw due to any unforeseen circumstances.

Galway Camogie reserves the right to cancel the Draw and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the Draw will be advertised as soon possible by Galway Camogie.

Galway Camogie’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of the Draw or the Draw result.

Galway Camogie shall not be liable for any failure in the performance of any of its obligations if caused by factors outside its control.

The implementation, conduct and verification of the Draw will be fully supervised by an independent adjudicator.
Galway Camogie reserves the right to add additional prizes to the Draw, details of which can be found on www.galwaycamogie.ie.

If the target value as stated in the terms and conditions is not met by the Draw deadline, the Draw promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a cash alternative which will be equal to the total amount of payments received minus reasonable administrative costs, not to exceed 30% of net payments received.

The prize is not transferable.

Galway Camogie accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.

How to Enter the Raffle Draw
Entry to the Raffle Draw is by means of a raffle ticket, specially commissioned by the Promoter online, through Galway Camogie website www.galwaycamogie.ie, and offline through the 37 camogie clubs in county Galway. On purchase of a ticket online at www.galwaycamogie.ie for the Raffle Draw, participants will receive an email with their raffle ticket number(s), all purchasers of tickets are automatically entered. Email containing ticket number(s) must be retained as proof of purchase. (Note: please check your spam folder for email of raffle ticket numbers). Tickets sold offline via the 37 camogie clubs will be merged with those in the online database for entry to the main draw for the first 3 prizes on 11 December, 2021.

At the point of purchase of the raffle ticket, purchasers will be asked to provide their first name, last name, email address, postal address, and contact number, which will be inputted online.

Failure to provide any of the foregoing information or accurate contact details at the point of purchase may result in inability on the part of the Promoter to contact the winner. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability to the winner for any failure on the part of the winner to provide full and accurate contact information.

A second draw will take place if the first winner chosen is unable to meet the T&Cs or is unable to be contacted.
The decision of the Promoter as to the winner and validity of the entry is final and no correspondence with third parties will be entered into.
The winning ticket and the ticket holder(s) will be subject to verification by Galway Camogie and their agents. This process may take up to 7 days to complete.
The winner will be notified by email, phone and/or direct message on Twitter/Facebook and/or letter within 28 days of the draw date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Irish data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

How to claim
The Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to contact the winner within 5 weeks of the Raffle Draw using the contact details supplied upon purchase of the raffle ticket, and the name of the winner will be posted on the website of the Promoter – Galway Camogie County Board plus social media platforms.
The Promoter will not enter into correspondence with third parties and will not use alternative contact details to those supplied upon purchase of the raffle ticket.
The winner must either provide for himself or herself, or a person nominated by him/her, a valid driving licence and proof of insurance prior to collection of the Prize.
If a winner does not claim the Prize, does not respond within 5 weeks of their details being posted on the website of the Promoter, or is unable to provide a valid driving licence and proof of insurance on collection, such winner waives the right to claim the Prize and the Prize will be awarded to the winner chosen in a second draw.

Publicity
Entrants agree and give consent that, if they win, the Promoter will have the right, without additional payment or permission, to use their name, age, town of residence and likeness for the purposes of announcing the winner of the Raffle Draw and for related promotional purposes.

Restrictions
Individuals who attempt to circumvent the system running the Raffle Draw in anyway or use multiple fraudulent attempts to play more than once, will not be eligible to participate in the Raffle Draw.
If there are reasonable grounds to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions by an entrant, the Promoter may, in its sole discretion, invalidate the relevant entry and disqualify the entrant from the Raffle Draw.
Prize must be accepted as offered. No alternative prize will be offered. The prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable to another person. In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Promoter is final.

Promoter’s right to modify or cancel
The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify, cancel, terminate or temporarily suspend this competition at any time without notification, and with no liability to any entrant or any third party.
If the Raffle Draw is not capable of being conducted as specified in these terms and conditions, or in the event of virus, a computer bug or unauthorised human intervention, or any other cause that is beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize for cash value or for another prize of equal value.

Limitation of liability
The Promoter’s total liability in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence) or otherwise arising out of or in connection with or in relation to these terms and conditions or arising out of or in connection with or in relation to any non-contractual arrangement shall be limited to the amount actually paid or payable by the entrant for the raffle ticket.
The limitation of the Promoter’s liability herein has effect in relation both to any liability expressly provided for under these terms and conditions and to any liability arising by reason of the invalidity or unenforceability of any term of these terms and conditions.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The terms and conditions herein are governed by Irish Law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
The Promoter is committed to operating the Raffle in a socially responsible way. We plan to broadcast the Draw live on the Galway Camogie Facebook Page. You do not need to be a Facebook User in order to watch the broadcast.

How many Tickets are on sale for the Win a Qashqai?
There is a total of 15,000 tickets for sale.

I don’t have a Credit / Debit Card, are there any other ways to buy a Ticket?
The alternative way to purchase a ticket is via any of the 37 camogie clubs in county Galway. Details for each club are available at https://www.galwaycamogie.ie/clubs/all-clubs/.

Do I need to be a member of Galway Camogie (or a camogie club within county Galway) in order to buy a Ticket?
No, you do not have to be a member of Galway Camogie or a camogie club within county Galway to buy a Ticket.

Do I need to be living in Ireland in order to claim the prize?
Yes, the draw is only open to residents in Ireland.

I want to buy a Ticket as a Gift / put it is someone else’s name. is that possible?
Yes; simply put the name(s) in the Order Notes section at the end of the Checkout Page. Tickets must be retained as proof of purchase.

I want to buy a Ticket on behalf of a group / a syndicate – is that possible?
Yes; simply put the names in the Order Notes section at the end of the Checkout Page. Emails containing ticket number(s) must be retained as proof of purchase.

Will the Draw be independently observed?
Yes, the Draw will be independently observed by an independent adjudicator.
