MATCH REPORT:

In the U16 All Ireland Semi Final Galway were unlucky to loose out to Cork on a scoreline of Cork 3-15 Galway 0-10.

Up to this point, Galway overcame Limerick on a scoreline of Galway 3-17 Limerick 0-10 and Clare on a scoreline of Galway 4-19 Clare 3-9 in their group games to top their group!

Cork got off to the perfect start in the first half netting 3 goals while Galway were very unlucky to have their goal chances saved by the Cork Keeper, Jill Connaughton.

Jade Whelton pointed a 45 and with Alanna Fahy adding two and Aoibheann Barry another point to get Galway off the mark. Cork went in 3-5 to 0-6 points at half time. Cork Maintained their lead throughout the second half to book their place in the final.

Scorers on tbe day: Aoibheann Barry 0-3 (0-2 f), Alannah Fahy 0-2 (0-1 45), Ciara Mc Grath, Jade Whelton, Caoimhe Kelly, Kayla Madden, Sophie Flynn 0-1 each.
