Camogie in Galway continues to go from strength to strength, with great success achieved both at the club and county level.
The Galway Senior camogie team were crowned Division 1 League Champions in April, our Intermediates became All Ireland Intermediate Champions in August, while our Minors were runners-up in the Tesco Ireland All-Ireland Minor A Championship. At Club level, Sarsfields achieved back to back All Ireland Senior club championship success in December. County and Connacht Intermediate champions Castlegar were beaten semi-finalists in the All Ireland Intermediate Club Championship.
