Tonight we also have 5 girls from our intermediate team battling it out with the stars from the Intermediate and Junior Championship as they look to bag themselves a soaring star award!

Laura Ward
Laura was solid throughout the All Ireland Intermediate Championship last year for Galway. She has been a prominent figure on the team for the past number of years at full back as well as her club team where she is after picking up another All Ireland Club title a few weeks ago. Laura is bidding for her first Soaring Star Award.

Caoimhe Mahon
Caoimhe was a powerhouse for our Intermediate team throughout the intermediate championship. She made the number 6 jersey hers this year with some fantastic performances throughout the championship. Caoimhe also picked up a county intermediate title with her club, Kinvara, this year in the Galway Intermediate Championship.

Cora Kenny
Cora Kenny has been an important figure on the Galway Intermediate team for the past few years. She scored a point in the semi final when Galway almost overcame the eventual All Ireland winners Antrim in Clones. Cora recently won a second All Ireland Title with her club Sarsfields.

Ava Lynskey
Ava has also been a key player on the Intermediate team for a number of years. The center half forward recently won an Ashbourne Cup title with her college DCU. Lynskey scored 1-1 in the All Ireland Semi Final against the eventual 2021 champions Antrim!

Elisha Broderick
Elisha, who is also looking for her maiden soaring star, has been a key figure in the half forward line for Galway for a few years. The Castlegar native scored a point in the All Ireland Semi final against current All Ireland Intermediate Champions Antrim.
