Ailish O’Reilly
Ailish is bidding for her 5th All Star award having all ready won titles in 13,15,17 and 19. Ailish picked up her 3rd All Ireland Title this year after bursting onto the Galway team in 2013. Ailish was always a danger inside in the Galway full forward line throughout the championship . She scored 2 points in the All Ireland Final and set up the all important goal near the finish of the game!
Orlaith McGrath
Orlaith is bidding for her 2nd consecutive All Star having already one on in 2020. Orlaith has also picked up a soaring star back in 2013. Orlaith lit up the championship, often unstoppable for any back that came in her way! Orlaith picked up her second All Ireland medal this year after she won one back in 2013. Orlaith, who is just after picking up her 2nd All Ireland Club Senior title with her club Sarsfields a few weeks ago, scored two points in the final including a monster of a point from mid field near the end of the game.
Siobhan McGrath
Siobhan McGrath scored the winning goal for Galway in the 55th minute of the All Ireland Final! When the game looked like it was gone from Galway, Siobhan popped up with the winning goal. Scoring 1-2 in the final, she is deserving of her award. She is looking for her maiden All Star. Siobhan, like her sister Orlaith, is fresh from winning an All Ireland title with her club Sarsfields just a few weeks ago.
