Tara has represented Galway in numerous All Ireland finals at senior and intermediate level. Tara won an All Ireland Intermediate title with Galway in 2009. She won the 2008 minor camogie player of the year award in Galway and she also nominated for All Stars in 2010 and 2011. Tara won a county Intermediate and Connacht title with her club in 2012.
