Galway Camogie and WGNSTAR have confirmed that after 3 years of partnership they will not be renewing their sponsorship agreement.
Reflecting on the past 3 years Brian Griffin, Chairperson of Galway Camogie commented that without, what was recognised as groundbreaking in terms of the dedicated sponsorship and generous support from WGNSTAR (Westerwood Global) Galway Camogie would not be in the position it is today.
Another first for Camogie supported by WGNSTAR was the introduction of the new 2022 sponsored jerseys, proudly displaying the LBQT+ colours included in their kit design.
Reflecting on the past 3 years, Geoffrey Stoddart, of WGNSTAR commented “that we were proud to be innovators in terms of the nature of the sponsorship by raising the bar both at County and indeed Country level but also helping to create the incredible success that Galway Camogie have achieved especially on the pitch, during the period of WGNSTAR sponsorship.

- Minor all Ireland finalists 2022
- Intermediate all Ireland champions senior league champions 2022
- Under15 all Ireland champions 2022.
- Senior league champions all Ireland u16 finalists u14 all Ireland champions 2023.

Stoddart goes on to wish all at Galway Camogie, the very best for the coming season and beyond with a
special call out for, their wonderful, enthusiastic and committed players, for which it has been a great
