In group 2 of Senior A, St. Thomas’, last year’s county finalists, recorded their first victory with a win over Davitts. A win for Oranmore-Maree next week will see them book their place in the semi finals. A win for Davitts will see scoring difference come into play within this group as each team will have one win each.
With two wins from two in their group, Athenry have progressed to the knockout stages of the Championship. This loss knocks Carnmore out of the Championship along with Cappataggle. The win for Eyrecourt sees Eyrecourt topping their group and making it to the knockout stages of the Championship with Killimor exiting the Championship alongside Craughwell.
A win for Craughwell and for Eyrecourt in this group. A win for Eyrecourt next week v Killimor will see Eyrecourt top the group while a win for Killimor will see scoring difference come into play in the group.
