Galway Camogie achieved great success in 2025. The U16s won the U16 A All Ireland title in May, the U23’s won the inaugural U23 All Ireland title in July and the Senior camogie team brought the O’Duffy cup west in August! A strong focus on development at underage level continued with the U15s and U14s participating in national blitzes throughout the year. At Club level, Athenry were crowned Senior A county champions for the first time since 2009, and take part in the All Ireland Senior Club final replay against St Finbarr’s on January 3rd in Semple Stadium. Shamrocks secured promotion to Senior A next year, taking the Senior B title for the first time. County and Connacht Intermediate champions Killimor were beaten semi-finalists in the All Ireland Intermediate Club Championship. Portumna were crowned County and Connacht Junior A Club Champions for the first time in their club history.
