Athenry are Senior A Camogie champions for the first time since 2009 after beating defending champions Sarsfields in the county final at Kenny Park. All-Ireland Club champions Sarsfields were aiming to win their seventh Galway county title-in-a-row. Coming into today’s final, Sarsfields had won eight of the last nine Galway titles (2016, 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024).
