U23 Manager: Cathal Murray

Cathal Murray was ratified as the Galway U23 Camogie Manager, for 2025/2026. Cathal came on board as the manager of the senior camogie team towards the end of the 2018 League campaign.

Prior to taking on the role of manager of Galway Camogie senior team, Cathal was manager of Sarsfields hurlers. Cathal played for Sarsfields in an All-Ireland Final at Croke Park at the end of his debut season in March 1998, and was player-manager when the East Galway outfit garnered their last county title in 2015.

Cathal Murray has been named as the recipient of the 2019 Camogie Association Manager of the Year, the 2021 Camogie Association Manager of the Year, the 2021 Medtronic Sports Star Award for Manager of the Year and the 2025 PwC Camogie Manager of the Year.
