A late goal from Ailish O’Reilly helped Oranmore Maree in booking their place back in the Windows and Rooflights LTD Senior A Camogie Championship semi finals. They were boosted with the return of former county star Niamh Hanniffy. Kate Deverux opened the scoring for Ardrahan with a point from play. Oranmore Maree hit back with four unanswered points through Rachael Hanniffy, Hannah Mangan, Niamh Farrell and Niamh Hanniffy. Deverux from a puck out and Cara Giblin through a free,
replied for Ardrahan to leave one between the sides after 12 minutes. Aisling Black pointed for Oranmore Maree on the 17 th minute while a pass from Rachael Hanniffy five minutes later found Farrell and Farrell blasted the ball into the back of the net.
The sides went score for score up to the break. Three O’Reilly frees, two from placed balls and two Giblin points, one from a free and a point from Ava Lynskey saw Oranmore Maree go in 1-8 to 0-6 in front at the break.
Ardrahan got off to the dream start in the second half. Two Andrea Mullins points, a point from Roisin Cahill and a goal from Denise Divinney on the 33 rd minute saw Ardrahan take the lead on the 40 th minute. Rachael Hanniffy and Roisin Coleman
replied for Oranmore Maree and restored their lead at the midway point of the half. Giblin and O’Reilly through a free swapped scores two minutes later but a point a piece from Mullins and Giblin saw Ardrhan edge in front yet again with seven minutes remaining on the clock. Rachael and Niamh Hanniffy put Oranmore Maree one in front again two minutes later but a Giblin point on the 57 th meant the sides were level heading into the final stretch. A long range free from O’Reilly about 45meters out landed in the back of the Ardrahan net on the 59 th minute to give them an all important three point cushion heading into injury time. Giblin and O’Reilly swapped points in injury time but it wasn’t enough for Ardrahan as Oranmore Maree ran out 2-14 to 1-14 winners on the day. They will now go on to face Athenry in the semi final.

Shamrocks continued their undefeated run in the Windows and Rooflights LTD Senior A Championship on Sunday morning as they overcame Mullagh in Killimor. Shamrocks got off to a dream start, finding the back of the net twice through Niamh McInerny, either side of an Aoife Donohue point. Tegan Canning responded with two frees for Mullagh, while McInerny added another point to leave Shamrocks ahead 2-1 to 0-3 after 10 minutes. Donohue, Pearl Finnerty and Canning, from a free, all added points for Mullagh, while Katie Gilchrist converted her first free of the day for Shamrocks. Gilchrist then added a second free before Donohue took control of proceedings, scoring 1-2 without reply to put Mullagh in front. Gilchrist pointed two more frees before the interval as the sides went into the break level at 2-5 to 1-8.
Gilchrist continued where she left off after the restart, converting two more frees to restore Shamrocks’ lead. Manning and Canning, from a free, reduced the deficit to a single point heading into the closing stages. However, Gilchrist remained composed, converting two more frees to ensure Shamrocks maintained a three-point advantage. Mullagh had one final opportunity to force extra time when Rachel Monaghan was awarded a free from the 20-metre line, but her effort drifted wide. Shamrocks held on to secure their place in the Senior A Championship semi-finals, where they will face Sarsfields in their first-ever Senior A semi-final appearance.

Craughwell 4-9 Ahascragh Caltra 1-14 – View Match Photos (Photo credit: Joe Keane)
Second half goals from Sinead Gaffney, Sarah McCartin and Katelyn Walsh helped Craughwell hold off a determined challenge from a gritty Ahascragh-Caltra outfit in a competitive Senior B camogie quarter-final at Gilligan Park, Craughwell, on Saturday evening. On the stroke of full-time, Ahascragh-Caltra’s Aoibhe Glynn blasted a close-range free to the Craughwell net to bring the deficit back to three points, but an injury-time Walsh free proved to be the insurance point for her side in their four-point victory.
Although Craughwell played the better camogie, they only led 1-6 to 0-6 at the interval. Sarah Byrne netted a superb goal midway through the first half for the winners while Byrne (free), Abbie Rooney (two frees), joint captain Keisha Coleman, Chloe Allen and Gaffney tallied the extras. In contrast, Ahascragh-Caltra were reliant for the most part on placed balls for their scores throughout the game — Lynn Hartigan with seven frees and Sarah Noone with two — although Hartigan, Saoirse Murray (2), Molly Mulryan and Lilia Murray did hit some fine individual efforts from open play. However, in the second period, Craughwell hit their opponents for those three goals at key stages and this, ultimately, proved to be the difference. They now march on to face Salthill-Knocknacarra in the semi-final, in what is a rematch of last year’s penultimate game.
Kinvara 2-17 Carnmore 0-15
Kinvara have booked their place in the Window and Rooflights LTD Senior B Semi Final after an eight point victory over Carnmore in Kinvara on Saturday afternoon. Lisa Shields opened the scoring for the hosts straight from the throw in. Mia Rodgers and Aoibheann Barry pointed either side of a point from Alannah Fahy to leave the sides level after five minutes. The sides were going score for score for the next five minutes with Aoife Collins and Ava Morley pointing for Carnmore while Siofra Barry and Ciara Costello responded for Kinvara. Muireann Conroy and Rachael Hughes edged Carnmore in front by the midway point of the half. Barry slotted over another free to give Kinvara their first score in 9 minutes and reduce the deficit to 1. The sides matched each other with four points a piece in the final ten minutes of the half. Two Fahy points and one each for Morley, through a placed ball and Caoimhe Geraghty while Siofra Barry, Ella Bergin, Ellen Birmingham and Rodgers all scored from play for Kinvara as Carnmore went in front 0-10 to 0-9 at the break.
Kinvara edged in front at the start of the second half through a point from Bergin and a free from Aoibheann Barry. Collins and Emily Brogan restored Carnmore’s lead by 36 th minute. Jennifer Hughes and Aoibheann Barry swapped frees three minutes later. Kinvara got a massive boost on the 40 th minute when Bergin found the back of the Carnmore net to give Kinvara a 1-12 to 0-13 lead. Morley hit back with a free two minutes later but a purple patch for Kinvara between the 42 nd and 55 th minute was crutial in their victory. Three Barry frees, a point from Shields and a goal from Costello left Kinvara 2-16 to 0-14 in front heading into the final few minutes.
