Little did we think that when we started the challenge (in the lockdown) in October 2020 that we would be put back in lockdown in the end of our challenge.

We would like to take this opportunity to update you on the success of the challenge. The full amount raised on the challenge was €24, 913.39. As stipulated at the outset of the challenge 20% of all proceeds (€5,000) would be donated to the Galway Hospice.

Galway Camogie would like to thank you all for joining the challenge4galway that ran from October to December 2020, without all of you this would not have been as successful a fundraiser as it was. While we were unsuccessful in 2020 on the playing field , we know with great supporters like yourselves behind us that even better days await us on the field when we are permitted to return.
