Congratulations to Caoimhe Kelly and Laoise McGrath from Sarsfields Camogie Club on being the Galway Camogie recipients of the 2024 ECC Sports Scholarships. The 5th annual ECC Timber Products GAA Sports Scholarship Scheme recipients were honoured on Thursday April 4th, with all five scholarship recipients receiving their scholarships from the Founder and Managing Director of ECC Timber Products in Corr na Mona, PJ Fahy.

Along with this year’s camogie recipients, Caoimhe Kelly and Laoise McGrath, previous camogie recipients Réitseal Kelly (2023), Sabina Rabbitte (2022), and Shannon Corcoran (2023) also attended the event.

The 2024 ECC Sports Scholarship Award recipients receive a scholarship of €2500 towards their third-level education for the next four years and include Aisling Madden from Kilkerrin Clonberne Ladies Football, Caoimhe Kelly and Ciara McGrath from Sarsfields Camogie, Cillian Trayers from Turloughmore Hurling and Colm Costello from Dunmore MacHales Gaelic Football.
